Market Fresh School’s Program
On Tuesday 15th March 2022, the Foundation, Year 1’s and Year 2’s participated in a Market Fresh Incursion. The Market Fresh Schools Program helped students to understand:
- Nutrition of fruit and vegetables.
- How fresh fruits and vegetables are grown, harvested and an overview of the supply chain in the Australian fresh produce industry.
- Tastes and textures of fruit and vegetables with students encouraged to taste test fresh produce.
