Teachers, parents and the parish Religious Education team work in partnership in the preparation of students for Sacraments.
Preparation and active participation in these Sacraments is very important for the development of the spiritual journey of the child and it is important for families to make it a priority to enrol their child in the Parish Sacramental Program at the school. This is a further opportunity for families to meet with Father Fabian to discuss the Sacramental program.
- Celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation – Year 2
- Celebrate the Sacrament of First Eucharist – Year 3
- Celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation – Year 5
Here is some very important information for 2023 Sacraments. The following dates will assist in the planning for your child’s Sacramental program and commitment.
Your commitment to the Sacraments for your children is of utmost importance and requires
ALL of the 4 following things in order for your child to be able to receive any sacrament.
Your commitment to –
- Enrolment meeting for the sacrament
- Parent Information evenings
- Commitment mass
- Retreat / preparation day where applicable (For Eucharist and Confirmation)
A lack of commitment to any of these would defer your child’s reception of the sacrament, to the following year until full commitment is shown.
