On Thursday, 10th August, some of our year 5/6 boys and girls took to the courts at Cobblebank Stadium for a successful day in the MPSSA District Basketball Competition.
On Thursday, August 10th, the year 5/6 girls’ basketball team took on three other Melton schools at Cobblebank Stadium. The girls won all the games in their pool and made it through to the grand final. We played against Wedge Park Primary School and won by four points. Now we get to play at divisionals. We had so much fun.
On Thursday, August 10th, the boys’ basketball team played at Cobblebank Stadium against Heathdale Christian College, Melton South Primary School, and Eynsburry Primary School. We won all three games, which put us in the Grand Final against Wedge Park Primary School. Unfortunately, we lost by 15 points, but we tried our best. All the boys played hard and showed great sportsmanship.
