Last Friday, September 1st, the Year 3 students participated in their Camp Day.
Our morning started with presentations to the St Anthony’s Sharks. Children presented their pitches for inventions that solved problems they had encountered in our community.
After recess, we completed some design challenges. Some of us had to design an outfit, others a marble run, a safe egg drop, or a bridge. Then after lunch, we watched a movie called ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.” It was about an inventor who created machines for his family to make their lives easier.
