Friday 10th June
Yesterday, 13th June was the Feast of St Anthony of Padua and we celebrated our Patron Saint last Friday with our first whole school mass in the Church since before Covid-19.
It was wonderful to have our school community gather together for this special occasion. Each class also participated in a St Anthony Feast Day activity in their classroom. The junior classes proudly wore their St Anthony scapula they made to our assembly in the afternoon. The children in Years Three and Four had lots of fun making St Anthony hand puppets and the senior students researched information about St Anthony and created lap books to present their information.
