Year 3 News
This term in Literacy the year 3 students have been focusing on creating snapshot writing pieces.
The students have been using their five senses and descriptive language to include sensory details about a specific moment of time.
Through snapshot writing the students have been building their vocabulary knowledge and using synonyms to extend their sentences and to create images in the reader’s head. The year 3 students looked at the text ‘Fire’ by Jackie French and used this text to help create their own snapshot writing about bushfires.
