Welcome back to 2022! It has been wonderful to see so many children borrowing books from the library.
Just a reminder for children to bring a library bag of any type on library day, so they are able to borrow and take their books home safely.
Children are able to borrow two books per week, which is to supplement their home reading program, led by their teachers.
Next term we will be participating in the National Storytime Stimulus, which is a promotion encouraging schools to all stop and read at the same time across our state. We will be doing this on Wednesday the 29th of May, at 10.30am. During this time children will be listening to the book Family Tree by Josh Pyke and Ronojoy Ghosh.
As we head into the April Holidays, check out what is happening at our local Melton City library by clicking on the ‘What’s On’ link below. The Melton City Library are great supporters of our library and offer a wide range of activities throughout the year.
