Year 5 & 6
Last term the inaugural St Anthony’s Hockey 7’s team played off against Bacchus March Primary for the Divisional Hockey Title.
Final scores were:
St Anthony’s v Bacchus Marsh 3-2 win
This meant that on Thursday 14th of August our year 5/6 Hockey7’s team travelled to Footscray to battle it out for the chance to be named the Regional Hockey champions. The games were nail bitters and the cheer squad were on the edge of their seats the entire time.
We played 3 rounds and won 3 games to qualify for the final. Unfortunately we did not win our final game but walked away as 2025 Hockey Regional Runners Up.

Thank you to our parent helper coach from Melton Hockey Club, Michael Bairstow for volunteering his time to couch our team each Monday at recess for the past few weeks.

- Round 2: St Anthony’s v Yarraville West 4-3 win
- Round 3: St Anthony’s v Newport 6-4 win
- Final: St Anthony’s v Fyans Park 2-5 loss
