Foundation students investigated the question ‘How does it move?’
For inquiry in term 4, the Foundation students investigated the question ‘How does it move?’ where students have been exploring the force of push and pull.
Last week Foundation students participated in the incursion ‘Craftpower’ where they learnt how to make a toy car out of wood. They had a lot of fun developing new skills on how to use a hammer and nail pieces of wood together. They chose the style of car and had to problem solve which pieces of wood would fit into their design to complete the model. Students then assembled their wheels and had them attached to the base of their car to enable it to be pushed or pulled.
After the incursion they were able to decorate their car. There was some great designs and the students enjoyed their new toys.
