Book Fair and Book Week
Over the last two weeks St. Anthony’s have had an exciting time exploring books, authors and visits
to the Book Fair. The Book Fair raised an amazing $3,216.50 which will be used in the form of
Scholastic Reward points, which will be spent in resourcing take home books and resources for our
children. Books on Re – Order will hopefully all be here by the end of this week, they will be
delivered to your child’s classroom. The Book Fair will be back again to visit next year!
Book Week
Dr Seuss says ‘The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the
more places you’ll go’ and this was true of St. Anthony’s this past week where children’s
imaginations were on show as they read and explored books and finally dress up as their favourite
characters. We were a buzz with reading everywhere, including with our buddies and across the
school. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers attend our parade on Thursday, and to
see our Year 6 students hosting the parade.
