Year 5 Excursion & Camp
On Thursday the 21st of July, the Year 5 team went on their excursion to ACMI.
We all had a wonderful day, visiting the ‘Moving Image’ exhibition and participating in different workshops. These workshops ignited the students’ creativity, curiosity and collaboration, focusing primarily on animation. The day was extremely interactive and the students discovered how animation and image has evolved over many years. The Year 5’s were able to make lots of connections to their current design unit in Inquiry, reflecting on their experiences and learning.
Once we returned to school, we participated in some fun teamwork activities. The students all enjoyed their time. We finished off our special day with pizza and a movie – ‘Paper Planes’.
