What Lies Beneath?
Last week, our Year 3 students attended their Camp Day experience at school. The day was centred around our Term 3 Inquiry unit, ‘What Lies Beneath?’, with a focus on rocks and gems. Our students participated in a fun-filled day of activities, including a scavenger hunt, research projects, a movie and hot chips for afternoon tea, and a wonderful incursion from Gem Mining.
A great time was had by all, especially while wearing the miners’ hats that the Year 3 students created themselves!
