Year 5
Over the past few weeks, the Year fives have been learning about poetry.
We have had a specific focus on integrating The Writing Traits into our lessons. Students were able to refine their ideas, use appropriate structural organisation and selectively choose words that enhanced the meaning of their text. We see writing as a craft that is continually refined. You can see from some of our interactions that sharing and discussing helps improve our writing.
