Mathematics
We invite you to our Mathematics Learning in Action to see firsthand how Maths is taught across our classrooms on Monday 19th October.
Morning Schedule
Please drop your children off to their classrooms and make your way to Padua Hall.
8:50am – Welcome and introduction (in Padua Hall), including an overview of the morning and distribution of maps showing classroom locations.
9.00am – 9.45am – Classroom observations. All year levels will be engaged in mathematics instruction, providing an opportunity to see Daily Review and/or the Number Fluency Program plus Explicit Instruction in action.
9.45am – 10.15am – Return to Padua Hall, grab a coffee/tea and join our presentation and Q & A session led by our Mathematics leader, Danielle Carter.
This is a great opportunity to gain insight into Mathematics at St Anthony’s; see different teaching strategies and student learning in action.
