Knitting Club is Back

Dear Families,

We are excited to share that Knitting Club is back in action this year! This club is a wonderful opportunity for students to come together in a calm, social space to learn and develop their knitting and crochet skills. Every Thursday at recess in Miss Fernandes’ room, students collaborate on various creative projects while enjoying a relaxing and supportive environment.

To keep our club running smoothly, we are seeking donations of supplies, including:

  • Balls of wool/yarn
  • Fabric bags
  • Knitting needles
  • Crochet hooks

If your child has previously attended Knitting Club in past years, we would also greatly appreciate it if you could check around your home for any abandoned projects, extra bags, and especially any knitting needles or crochet hooks that are no longer in use.

Your donations will help provide materials for all students who are eager to learn and create. If you have any items to contribute, please send them with your child or drop them off at Miss Fernandes’ room.

Thank you for your support in making Knitting Club a welcoming and creative space for our students!

Best regards,
Miss Fernandes, Mrs Pawlowicz, Mrs Coulter and Mrs Grahek
