Divisional Cricket Competition

Year 6 Boys

St. Anthony’s visited Mason’s Lane in Bacchus Marsh to compete in the Divisional Competition for Senior Cricket.

The team defeated Gisborne Primary School and St. Bernards Primary School in the first two games and faced Arnold’s Creek Primary School in the final game that decided who would play in the Regionals. St. Anthonys won the game by 20 runs.

There were many star performers on the day including Cohen taking four wickets in one over, Christian with his amazing fielding catches and taking four catches in one game and Henry with his dominant performance with the bat. He made 150 runs in the final two games.

Overall it was an amazing performance by all the boys, who had trained really hard in the weeks leading up to the division competition, where their fielding had improved immensely which ultimately got them over the line by saving multiple runs on the boundary, along with taking vital wickets.

We look forward to the Regional Competition on November 3rd.
