Congratulations!

Year 3 students participated in the Sacrament of Eucharist

Last weekend some of our Year 3 students participated in the Sacrament of Eucharist.

We would like to congratulate these students as they have dedicated themselves to preparing for this special day. The Sacrament of Eucharist is where the students receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ for the first time.

Students participating in the Sacrament of Eucharist were given the opportunity to go to Greendale where they further explored the Sacrament and reflected on the importance of this day in their faith journey.

Firstly, we, the Year 3 teachers, would like to thank everyone involved who helped organise and manage this very special occasion. A lot of organisation went on behind the scenes to make the day such a success. In particular, we would like to thank Fr Fabian and Mrs Martin for helping students in their preparation for Eucharist. We would like to thank the parents for their assistance in preparing and guiding students in their religious journey. Also, we thank all of the Year 3 students who have supported our Eucharist children and have traveled on this journey through Term 2 to help in preparation for Eucharist.

Finally, we would like to thank all the Eucharist children involved. The day was a huge success and huge congratulations for all your hard work and dedication, you should all be very proud.
