Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th August 2022
Last Wednesday and Thursday evening 46 students from Years 5 and 6 continued their faith journey when they were confirmed by Bishop Martin Ashe in St. Anthony’s Church. They were supported by their sponsor and many family and friends.
Before the ceremony the candidates participated in a full day retreat where they attended Mass and Reconciliation and reflected on their Confirmation journey.
The Year 5 classes have been exploring the Sacrament of Confirmation including how they can use the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit in their words and actions in their daily lives.
