Book Fair & Book Week
In 2026, St Anthony’s once again embraced a love of reading and books! The Book Fair is always such an exciting occasion for our students, where they get to pick a selection of items for their ‘Wish List’ and then bring their parents in the hope of their wishes coming true!
Once again, our school community supported the Fair with excitement and gusto, selling nearly $9,000 worth of books and accessories. Our school benefits greatly from this excellent amount of sales, which is put directly back into our library and literacy program. This allows us to purchase new take-home texts, picture storybooks and novels requested by our students. This year, it will be especially exciting to purchase books requested by our student body, as the SCR coordinate the library purchase requests.
Book Week then follows on, allowing students and teachers to enjoy their favourite authors, activities and each other, ending in a day of fun with our annual Book Parade!
Students love visiting each other’s classrooms to meet and complete activities with other teachers. It is always so lovely to see the students dressed up each year, excited to be their favourite book characters. The photo stand areas are always a popular favourite, giving families the opportunity to get a quick Book Week snap before the parade starts!
Thank you to all our families for the wonderful community spirit you showed before, during and after the parade. Princess Fiona will be forever grateful!
