Adam Wallace visits St. Anthony’s

Author visit with the Year 5 & 6 students

On Wednesday 8th June our Year 5 & 6 students had the pleasure of meeting children’s author Adam Wallace.

Students participated in engaging activities learning about the writing process and how authors get their inspiration for writing. Adam’s mission is to entertain and inspire children by talking about his books and explaining his writing techniques. He then uses these techniques to create amazing stories. Adam also showed our students how to draw some of his famous cartoons.

Thursday morning in the Year 5 & 6 classes our students were all enthusiastic about putting Adam’s ideas into practise in their own writing.

This visit was a part of the program run by Melton City Library who are great friends of our school. We would like to thank Adam and Melton Library & Learning Hub for this learning experience.
