Foundation & Year 1
Last week, the Foundation and Year 1 students attended a History Box incursion as part of their Inquiry learning, where they had the opportunity to step back in time and learn about the past.
The Foundation focus for inquiry this term is: How is my family’s story unique?
The Year 1 focus for inquiry this term is: Has the daily life of a child changed over time for the better?
Students participated in a range of engaging activities and hands-on experiences, explored toys of the past, how people lived, travelled and communicated in earlier times. It was a fun and interactive way to bring history to life and deepen their understanding of how life has changed over time!
