Year 3 Incursion
Our Year 3 students had an unforgettable day during our recent Young Mary MacKillop Incursion!
The children stepped back in time through a lively, interactive performance to explore the early life of Australia’s first saint. With plenty of hilarious acting and energetic drama, the students were kept laughing and engaged from start to finish.
Beyond the giggles, the students gained a deep understanding of young Mary’s determination, kindness, and faith. The students gained an understanding of Mary’s passion for Education. She wanted to ensure every child had access to education and she helped shape Catholic schooling and the lives of Catholic Australians.
It was a fantastic, hands-on learning experience that brought our history and religious education curriculum to life.
