Year 6 Camp
In Week 7, our Year 6 students headed off to camp for an unforgettable adventure. Despite the cold, wet and wintry weather, students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, resilience and courage.
Throughout the camp, students stepped outside their comfort zones and participated in a range of exciting activities including the giant swing, abseiling, rock climbing, archery, flying fox and team challenge activities. Whether they were soaring through the air, scaling a climbing wall or encouraging their peers to take on a challenge, students demonstrated perseverance and determination every step of the way.
One of the highlights of camp was seeing students support one another. Acts of kindness were evident throughout the week as students cheered on their friends, offered words of encouragement and worked together to overcome obstacles. It was wonderful to witness the strong sense of teamwork and community that developed during our time away.
While the cabins may not have won any awards for tidiness, they were certainly filled with laughter, friendship and plenty of memorable moments! From sharing stories and jokes to reflecting on the day’s adventures, students created memories that will last a lifetime.
We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 6 students represented themselves and our school. Their resilience in challenging weather conditions, willingness to try new things and positive attitudes made the camp a tremendous success. The experiences and friendships formed throughout the week will no doubt remain cherished memories for years to come.
