Cooks’ Cottage
On Monday the 17th of November, the Year 4 students went to The Fitzroy Gardens to learn more about our History inquiry unit. We visited Cooks’ Cottage where we learnt about how the cottage was dismantled in England, transported to Melbourne by ship and rebuilt. We explored inside to see how people lived in the past and played games like skittles and chamber pot races. We learnt about Captain Cook and where he explored and what life was like on a ship.
