Year three students were very excited to take part in our fun camp day.
Students took part in a team building game and raced in the first ever Year 3 St Anthony’s Melbourne Cup. An award went to Mr Allison for his interpretation of a horse galloping. We had fun cheering on our team mates.
This term we have been looking at the ways different countries celebrate. We invited some members of the West African Community who shared how important music is to their celebrations. Students drummed along learning about beat and rhythm. I think we all went home with sore arms but had lots of fun.
We finished the day off with a movie based upon the celebration of ‘Dia de los muertos’ and filled our tummies with yummy pizza.
